Deep Work Podcast and new Finance Dashboard

And a lot of other cool updates this time.

Hello everyone, we've got some exciting updates for you this week! Most noticeably, we have launched a podcast on Spotify. It’s currently based on conversations I have with friends and mentors, about organizations, innovation, and design. We will improve the production quality over time, so feel free to comment or leave feedback. Or just tune in to enjoy some thought-provoking conversations.

Projected Expenses for August:

- 1000$ for Metafest drinks
- 400$ for swag items (eggs)
- 185$ for gas fees pre-load
- 50$ for the Bitquery case study

What’s currently happening at Deep Work?

Now, let's dive into the updates from each department.

Operations

The department of Operations has got quite a few tasks accomplished:

• We’re getting more tasks and bounties listed in Deep Teams, please check regularly if you find something interesting. Currently, most are unpaid but offer an opportunity to display your skills which might lead to longer-term paid collaboration. Or feel free to DM me to suggest an appropriate payment.

  

• We have also added a “Why Deep Work” section to the docs to outline the benefits of contributing to Deep Work.

• A new finance dashboard has been set up for better operations control and understanding.

DAO Consultancy

• A new project calendar has been created for better coordination.

• Sarah and I have created documentation with the key elements for creating a sustainable organization.

  

• We might rename this department to Organizational Consultancy for a broader outlook and to avoid limiting ourselves to DAOs.

• After facilitating an organizational mapping workshop for DappNode, Jack and I are currently working on a monthly retainer package for organizations. Thanks to Pol and his team for this experience!

Deep Work Studio

Here's what's happening in Deep Work Studio:

• Bitquery case study has been successfully published. Thanks Sergey, Olya, Jesse, Boyana and Hazem for the great work! And thanks to Akodu for uploading the case study! Feel free to share it on your socials!

  

• We are looking for more interesting projects to design. Let us know if you come across interesting projects that need product design.

• Two projects are potentially about to start, dates to be confirmed. Details in Deep Teams.

• Boyana, Balint and I have improved the current branding process with the goal to reduce uncertainty on the client side and cater to different audiences.

Awareness

• We launched a podcast that is now live.

• Lucia is now the representative of the department! Thank you for the amazing work, ideas, and collaboration!

Deep Experiences

• We’re excited to meet up at MetaFest in Croatia next week! Kicking it off with the MetaFest Eve Mixer
