Let's plan Deep Experiences at DevConnect Istanbul!
And a few smaller updates
DevConnect Istanbul is taking place in November and I would love to use the opportunity to hang out with you and also organize something fun for our friends from other communities.
But now, without further ado, let’s run over the latest updates:
What’s currently happening at Deep Work?
There’s a retroactive DEEP issuance happening here. The list is based on several conversations, please let me know if I missed anyone. I don’t plan on doing this often to avoid overcomplicating it.
If you’re not sure about why I decided to do it or what DEEP is useful for, please refer to the last newsletter or the documentation.
I created a basic brief overview of the current cashflow, so you know how we’re planning things. September and October could be a bit tight, but if all projects go well, we’ll be in a very good place from November on.
Currently in a conversation with Gitcoin’s PGF team to create an organizational map and documentation of work.
As I’m in Portugal, I also approach the design for the physical co-living space with similar tools and practices. User journeys, documentation, organizational mapping etc.
Sarah and I have been compiling an “Organizational Design Playbook“ to capture learnings and tools for organizational design.
Deep Work Studio
Our kick-ass experts are currently working on two projects:
TrustMachines (brand and website). We can’t disclose too much information about this one, but the team is a pleasure to work with. We’ll share more when we’re finished!
CreditSwap (product). A two-sided lending and borrowing marketplace that gives people the ability to set custom parameters for their desired loan. Very interesting product and design challenge.
Started working with Mitul on cleaning up our Figma files. Over the next month or two it will be much easier to add new features and user journeys to Deep Teams.
Also some major bugs have been fixed for a much more flawless experience. We also decided to rename “functions“ to “skills“ in the UI as the terminology is more relatable for the users of the app.
We also scheduled to work on the software development of CreditSwap (see Deep Work Studio projects above).
Currently discussing conducting internal interviews with you all and sharing the insights on social media.
Started interviews and research on how we can help similar projects to our past clients. Dawid and Michal are doing it at Berlin Blockchain Week, say hi if you’ll be there too!
Boyana started a project to conduct generative research to learn about our audience.
Jack and I started working on a short slide deck (work in progress) that summarises what we’re currently doing as Deep Work. The content currently refers to organizational design but can be replaced with any other service.
All of the above could become its own service we can also provide to others.
Have a delightful week and I’ll see you all soon!
