Today I’m sharing a summary of last month and some next steps Sarah, Mitul, Cath, Anna and I discussed yesterday . We reviewed our progress with content creation and discussed improving lead generation through conferences and digital channels.

External Observations:

Crypto scams are becoming increasingly sophisticated with fake software, communities, and platforms. Be careful with suspicious DMs and if you’re downloading unknown apps, check the files at https://virustotal.net/
Internal Insights:
Even though the 1-week cold outreach experiment had 3 responses from 111 projects, it only led to 1 call that wasn't a fit. I think there are more efficient ways to find value-aligned projects.
The case study on Twitter performed well, especially when reposted.
Mitul's design article significantly outperformed others (300 views vs. 200 average). Design-related content appears to resonate well with many of you, so there will be more of it soon :)
Very good feedback from sales calls, but the market doesn’t seem quite right yet.
In general, our customer acquisition channels are in place, we are now just testing the efficacy of each.
Plans for Next Month (June)
Focus primarily on conferences and validating three value propositions and different channels for customer/user acquisition:
Product design services for delightful human-tech interfaces
Organizational design and stakeholder research for protocols
Skill mapping and becoming part of our p2p expert network
The presentations and workshops should validate the general demand and relationship between the offerings above. Given the Substack data, product design will probably resonate most.
I will create three lead magnets with Ballant to start collecting numbers to compare.
We also plan to test Twitter automation by converting articles to short tweets and seeing how social media impacts the awareness funnels.
Collective Initiatives:
Establish a writing circle/feedback group using a new Telegram channel (only for Deep Work experts)
Experiment with video content for case studies and team showcases
Explore potential collaboration between Deep Work content and Anna's AI streaming agents
Test automated Twitter content distribution from existing articles
