[Progress Update] November
Hey friends,
Last month, I was in Argentina and had a great time exploring the landscape of web3 innovation at different events. I published a summary of my observations and how we might find more blockchain use-cases here.
Have a great start to the month and see you soon!

Current activity
This month, I mostly focused on collaborating with the Argentina Onchain team, working on the Enterprise Hub, and curating workshops at Funding The Commons.
I also kept improving Sanctuary:
During Edge City, I tested the pricing for Sanctuary, with two options: as a participant paying own costs (max. $2000) and as a spotlight project ($9000). You can watch my short 2-minute presentation here, at minute 51:12. 10 people joined the TG group I created for it after the presentation. Thank you to Mercedes for pushing me to work on it, and Jane for dealing with my indecision on the pricing slide, which I literally finished a minute before presenting.
I also hosted a Salon in Buenos Aires with a lovely group of friends, where we discussed open questions for the future of Sanctuary. I re-recorded a summary video here. Thank you to Livia for suggesting that I bring people together to have this discussion. Here’s the diagram from the video:
Upon suggestions from some of you, I will experiment with a Substack subscription to start developing a high-quality archive of material. It will include mostly artifacts that helped you get jobs in the industry, more users to your product, and balance money in the treasury. Also replicable case-studies, processes, templates, and frameworks.
Working files will remain free, and you can always collab/shadow on our work.
If you have other suggestions, let me know what stood out to you over the years from our work and we’ll work on making it better! On a complete side-note, please be careful with TG messages, even from your friends. Harpreet, if you’re reading this, your account got compromised and the scammers are using your face for proof of your identity.
(if you know Harpreet, please let him know)In any case, if you’re suspicious:
Double-check URLs for “spelling mistakes“
Verify smart contracts
Check links on Android or Linux (where you have no wallet)
Encrypt your devices so it’s harder to steal your identity!
Current stats
We’re very low on treasury funds, but this only means that Deep Work will stop paying for the software. I’ll keep using it so nothing changes and I’ll pay for it personally.
That said, we have new Substack readers (welcome!) and will continue publishing progress and case studies.
Treasury balance: $67
LinkedIn impressions
Have increased since Cath installed the n8n automation.
